Fact Attack is an extremely short video game created for the Make Literally Anything Jam 2026.
Join Ellerbee, the Last Librarian, on a quest to find the Fun Fact. Fight pathetic foes in a post-apocalyptic world that has forgotten what fun is...
There is absolutely no sound design in this but don't worry about it.
Made in less than a week in GB Studio. The default text graphics and some example scripts from the base program are used in this. Romhacking or modding aside, this is my first gamedev project in roughly 18 years. A lot of things got in my way this week but I'm really pleased I managed to put anything together at all for this awesome little jam.

Very cute little gamelet! The enemy goblins look so sad, I almost feel bad for smashing their guts out.
I can't seem to get past the part where you learn about the fact dash, but I really like the look of this!
